Quality Control Lab Technician Job Summary We're hiring a Quality Control Lab Technician in Ogden, UT to help ensure every product leaving the facility meets strict food safety and quality standards. This is a hands-on lab role in a beverage manufacturing environment, paying $18.65/hour, with a rotating schedule that gives you built-in long weekends on a regular basis. What You'll Do Test raw materials, in-process product, and finished goods at defined production stages and accurately document all results Collect microbiological samples and perform incubation, SAS, and retained sample checks Conduct chemical concentration verification using titration kits and cleaning verification using ATP and micro swabs Calibrate and perform routine cleaning of laboratory instruments Verify incoming bulk raw materials during receiving Communicate directly with production leads, maintenance, and distribution to keep shift operations running smoothly Ensure all samples, chemicals, and equipment are handled correctly to prevent contamination Maintain full compliance with GMP, food safety standards, and the company's Integrated Management System What You Bring Required 1+ year of quality control experience, preferably in beverage or low-acid food/drink manufacturing Hands-on experience with HPLC and HACCP Strong analytical lab skills with sharp attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Preferred Post-secondary education in Quality Control, Food Science, or a related field Experience evaluating production data such as variances and efficiencies Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines without close supervision Schedule & Shift 2-2-3 A/B- 7am-7pm C/D 7pm-7am Pay & Compensation $18.65 per hour
