Quality Technician responsible for in-process and final inspection of electrical and mechanical assemblies to verify compliance with engineering specifications and quality requirements. Job Requirements 2+ years of experience in quality inspection, quality assurance, or a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Experience inspecting electrical and/or mechanical assemblies. Experience using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, torque wrenches, and related inspection tools. Experience performing basic electrical testing using multimeters and continuity testing equipment. Experience documenting inspection results, defects, and non-conformances. Experience troubleshooting manufacturing or product quality issues. Preferred Skills Experience with switchgear, power distribution equipment, or electrical manufacturing. Knowledge of
ISO 9001
quality management systems. Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies. Technical degree or vocational training in Quality, Manufacturing, Electrical Technology, or a related field. Experience with non-conformance reporting and corrective action processes. Job Responsibilities Perform in-process and final inspections of electrical and mechanical assemblies. Verify products meet engineering drawings, specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. Inspect dimensional and mechanical characteristics using appropriate measurement equipment. Perform electrical continuity and basic multimeter testing. Review electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to verify assembly compliance. Identify and document defects and non-conforming materials or assemblies. Create and maintain inspection and non-conformance records. Verify corrective actions and reworked products meet specified requirements. Support investigation and resolution of manufacturing quality issues. Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Quality functions to address product non-conformances. Support continuous improvement activities related to manufacturing quality and inspection processes.
Pay:
