Job Description

Material Coordinator Kalman and Company United States, Virginia, Virginia Beach 1399 Helicopter Road (Show on map) May 07, 2026 Kalman & Company Inc. is seeking a Material Coordinator for a position on-site at Little Creek Base in Va. Beach, VA. Knowledge of CBR masks and individual protection equipment is desired. Applicants must have a willingness to follow all safety and conduct rules and comply with company policies. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. Extended periods of standing, lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs.
Specific Duties:
Assisting the Team Lead / Manager in all daily tasks and ensuring the completion of each assigned task as directed. Provide technical knowledge where applicable. Facilitate accurate inventory of all Chemical, Biological and Radiological (CBR) assets counted daily, by use of established warehouse (WMS) and quality management systems (QMS). Assist in and complete CBR Fit Test and Size (FT&S) missions and ensure accuracy of collected FT&S data. Perform quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) activities, by way of visual, technical, and cyclic inspection on all CBR equipment utilizing established processes, procedures, and technical guidance while complying with all safety, conduct, and company policies and procedures as defined.
Required Education/Qualifications:
Candidates must be at least 18 years old. Position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance and maintaining that clearance with 6-month re-verification. US Citizenship is required. This position requires the ability to work on their feet for up to 8 hours a day in a non-climate-controlled environment, and to be able to lift and handle material weighing up to 40 pounds. The position requires that the individual be knowledgeable with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Preferred Education/Qualifications:
Experience with appropriate Navy CBR equipment is preferred.
