This position is primarily responsible for the inspection of in-process and finished assemblies that are produced in our cleanroom. This role will be key in identifying non-conformances, documenting results, and working closely with production teams. Work is performed in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom environment, requiring adherence to contamination-control procedures. Employees must wear appropriate cleanroom garments (gown, hood, gloves, face mask, and boot covers) and follow established protocols. This is an onsite, full-time position, located in our Liberty Lake, WA facility. Day shift position - regular work hours and scheduling expectations will be reviewed during the interview process.
Salary:
$20 - 21 per hour.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Inspect in-process assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and test fixtures. Document inspection results, nonconformances, and corrective actions in quality records and systems. Identify, isolate, and report nonconforming materials or products. Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues and support root cause analysis. Support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce defects and improve processes. Verify adherence to work instructions, assembly procedures, and quality control plans Assist with internal audits, process audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection area. Maintain the Frencken America measurement tool calibration process. Meet output requirements to support Production schedule. Take initiative to seek productivity improvements. Communicate effectively with customers, management, and employees. Performs all other duties as necessary or assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Two (2) years of experience in inspection and/or manufacturing, including working with precision instruments. Basic understanding or equivalent work experience in
ISO 9001
standards Familiar with statistical process control, 5S, and Lean concepts. Basic knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Must be able to sit/stand for up to 10 hours, walk, talk, hear, grasp, reach, lift 30lbs., pull/push 100lbs., carry 30lbs. Must be able to perform repetitive tasks. Must don and doff Personal Protective Equipment and work in a cleanroom environment. Will be exposed to static magnetic fields and magnetic components. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus with or without corrective lenses.
