Job Description

Hours:

1:30pm-10:00pm Monday through Friday

Pay:

$19-20/hour

Inspects in-process production, and finished goods by confirming specifications through visual and dimensional tests per part inspection plans

Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs

Document and communicates quality inspection failures (out of tolerance or out of control conditions)

Use and read common measuring devices (tapes, caliper, etc.) to complete product inspections

Read and follow detailed blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and other applicable documents to inspection standards

Work to ensure ongoing success of company housekeeping and organization goals

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of APT

Performs other assigned duties to achieve the goals of the department and company

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalent

One year of experience working in a similar role

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Basic mathematic skills

Ability to read and understand job traveler, blueprints, drawings, and work instructions

Good verbal communication, writing, and listening skills

Basic computer knowledge

Ability to lift 50 pounds

Excellent vision

Stand for extended periods of time

Preferred Skills

Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, Outlook)

ISO quality management systems experience
