Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed below. This list shall not be construed as the only duties that may be assigned for the position. Create, maintain, and run detailed CMM programs for in-house production parts, purchased components, and sub-contract machined parts. Prepare detailed inspection reports; provide input and direction to other inspectors, machine operators, engineering and purchasing personnel, and outside suppliers based on inspection results. Determine program requirements based on design and engineering part-specific requirements. Maintain the CMM equipment to ensure it is functioning properly, the calibration schedule is adhered to, and the software is up to date. Provide support to the Inspection Department by inspecting components, calibrating gauges, and performing other tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Associates degree or some technical training preferred. Experience and/or Training 3 years of related experience Knowledge of gage calibration. Ability to read and interpret drawings. Technology/Equipment Knowledge of Zeiss Calypso software preferred but not required. Familiar with the requirements of ISO9001:2015.
