Installers need to be able to lift and carry 50 pounds, be comfortable working high off the ground and on ladders, and handy with tools. Will train. This position is in the field, from Bridgeport to RI. Sewers must be fast learners and good with their hands. Some experience is helpful but we are willing to train a motivated individual. This position is based in our Bridgeport shop. Duties Operate industrial sewing machines with precision. Measure fabric and materials accurately using measuring instruments to ensure proper fit and dimensions. Cut fabric manually or with cutting machines according to specified patterns and measurements. Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse setting, ensuring proper storage, transportation, and handling of fabric materials. Install finished products on-site or in designated locations, ensuring correct fit and secure attachment. Adhere strictly to safety standards in production environments to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working space. Maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing process by inspecting materials, seams, and finished products for defects or inconsistencies.. Support continuous improvement initiatives by following established procedures for sewing, materials handling, and installation.
