Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machine Operator (Operador/a de Máquina de Coser Industrial) to join our production team in Salt Lake City, UT . This position is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience operating JUKI industrial sewing machines (máquinas de coser industriales JUKI) or similar commercial sewing equipment in a manufacturing, fabrication, upholstery, textile, banner, sign, or production environment. You'll use industrial sewing equipment to sew (coser), hem (hacer dobladillos), reinforce (reforzar), join (unir), and finish (dar acabado) materials such as fabric (tela) and vinyl (vinilo). Candidates with experience in production sewing (costura de producción), single-needle sewing (costura de una sola aguja), straight-stitch sewing (costura de puntada recta), threading machines (enhebrado de máquinas), changing bobbins and needles (cambio de bobinas y agujas), seam construction (confección de costuras), measuring (medición), cutting (corte), and troubleshooting stitching issues (solución de problemas de costura) are strongly encouraged to apply. 00 per hour (based on skills, experience, and qualifications) What You'll Do Produce finished graphics and fabricated products. Operate industrial sewing machines to join, gather, hem, reinforce, or finish materials and fabric articles. Examine and measure finished products to ensure quality and conformance to standards. Cut materials and trim excess material or thread using scissors, blades, or electric cutting tools. Fold and prepare materials such as fabric or vinyl for sewing and production. Mount machine attachments and adjust machine settings according to specifications. Monitor sewing machine operation and identify issues such as defective stitching, thread breaks, or machine malfunctions. Troubleshoot production and equipment issues as they arise. Assist with other fabrication duties as assigned. Use basic computer skills to support production tasks. Work safely while lifting materials and products up to 50 lbs. What We're Looking For Industrial sewing experience preferred. Mechanical and artistic aptitude. Strong attention to detail and quality. Good cutting and measuring skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer knowledge. Reliable, safety-minded, and eager to learn and grow. Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, squat, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift. Physical Requirements The Sewing Technician position will have the following physical requirements: Standing/Walking for extended periods throughout the shift. Bending/Twisting/Squatting regularly throughout the shift. Lifting/Pushing/Pulling materials up to 75 lbs consistently. Why Join Digital Room?
