Starting Pay:

Additional $.34 per hour for hours worked on 2nd shift

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
As part of our manufacturing team, you will: Install, maintain, repair power plant equipment (includes, but not limited to: Boilers, Compressor, Cogeneration and HVAC)
Identifying and troubleshooting electrical/mechanical issues
Provide technical support/skills for troubleshooting equipment and controls/equipment modifications
Performing both uptime and downtime preventative in adherence to the master PM schedule
Perform corrective maintenance orders
Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performance
Attend meeting and trainings as required
Assistother plant areas as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED
Possess a First-Class Stationary Engineer License from the City of Buffalo
3 years (minimum) experience in operation of a mid-size power plant
4 years (minimum) maintenance experience with basic knowledge in pipe fitting, electrical troubleshooting and blueprint reading
Working knowledge of PLC's, HVAC systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Ability to work rotating 8-hour shifts
Mustpossessthe ability to understand and effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and others in the workplaceregardingwork matters (our business isgenerally conductedin English)
Ability tolift upto 50lbs
Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and twist for extended periods
Willingness to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditions
Ability to climb and/or work at heights whileutilizingstairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms
Ability to follow human and food safety, quality, and grooming standards
Ability to wear such as protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment -PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard/bump cap, hair/beard net,gloves,and face masks (whenrequired)
Ability to work around high-speed machinery and foodallergens
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Manufacturing or production experience
Possess a First-Class Stationary Engineer License from the City of Buffalo
