Job Description Mon-Fri 2:00-10:00p (Training on 3rd shift)
Position Summary:
Perform all processing operations, including the operation of furnaces according to procedures. Documentation of all operations is very important.
Essential Functions:
Build loads for kilns by properly balancing saggers.
Place fire check keys in appropriate places for Lab Analysis.
Run all thermal equipment, including Wax Binder and PK furnace according to procedure
Set time and temperature parameters according to procedure using standard programs. Monitor temperature charts and notify engineering if out of specification.
Correct load and unload cores
Assist with minor equipment maintenance.
Visually inspect cores for defects
Report all problems to Supervision, Maintenance or Engineering as required
Must follow and adhere to all safety procedures.
Maintain department standards for housekeeping/6S
Other duties as assigned by supervision
Required Skills:
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Good written and verbal communications skills
Must be self-directed to accomplish goals with minimal supervision Experience & Education High school education is preferred
Prior manufacturing experience preferred Physical Demands Not at All Infrequently Occasionally Frequently Continually 30x hr.
