In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and operating essential mechanical equipment—including steam generation, ventilation, pneumatics, and cooling systems—to keep our hospital operating safely and efficiently. Maintain, repair, and operate high-pressure steam generation equipment, cooling systems, ventilation, and pneumatic systems.Work Order Management:
Review, prioritize, and complete daily work orders and time-sensitive assignments efficiently.Emergency Response:
Monitor and respond promptly to dispatched calls, emergency alarms, and facility communication systems.Team Collaboration & Service:
Work closely with engineering colleagues, hospital staff, patients, and families in a professional, courteous manner following iRESPECT standards.Safety & Compliance:
Maintain required inspection records, repair logs, and safety documentation while adhering to HIPAA, infection control, and organizational policies.Work Environment Care:
Ensure a safe, clean, and orderly environment; clean tools/equipment, report malfunctions, and use resources cost-effectively.Coverage Flexibility:
Provide relief coverage for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to ensure continuous hospital operations.
