You will be responsible for building, adjusting, and servicing high-precision fixtures and tools. We are looking for someone who values high-quality craftsmanship and possesses the meticulous attention to detail required to excel in this position. Primary Duties Construct, repair, and engineer precise tooling and fixtures that meet exact project requirements. Apply diverse machining methods such as grinding, turning, milling, and EDM to support production needs. Analyze complex blueprints and technical schematics to guarantee the precision of all manufactured tools. Conduct regular equipment upkeep and diagnostic repairs to ensure tools remain in peak operating condition. Work alongside engineering and production teams to help improve overall tool efficiency and performance. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by keeping the shop floor tidy and following standard safety procedures. Document all maintenance logs, design changes, and tool specifications with high accuracy. Required Skills and Experience Possession of a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for those holding a technical certification or degree in Tool Making. Demonstrated history of working as a Tool Maker within a professional machine shop setting. Deep understanding of various machining tools and operational processes. Skilled at deciphering and utilizing technical blueprints and engineering drawings. Capable of running CNC machinery and other specialized precision equipment. Strong analytical abilities to solve complex problems with a focus on precision. Effective interpersonal abilities to foster successful team collaboration. Flexibility to adjust your schedule to meet operational demands when necessary.
