As a Tool Maker, you will play a crucial role in the production process, using your expertise to create, modify, and maintain precision tools and fixtures. If you have a passion for craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you! ## Responsibilities Design, fabricate, and repair precision tools and fixtures according to specifications. Utilize various machining techniques, including milling, turning, grinding, and electrical discharge machining (EDM). Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate tool production. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on tools and equipment. Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize tool performance and efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices. Keep accurate records of tool designs, modifications, and maintenance activities. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in Tool Making or related field preferred. Proven experience as a Tool Maker in a machine shop environment. Strong knowledge of machining processes and tools. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. Ability to operate CNC machines and other precision equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
