If you have:
Greater than 5 years' experience in a manufacturing industry that uses cutting tools and abrasives At least 5 years of machining experience Must have strong technical knowledge of cutting tools, PPE, abrasives, and cutting tool applications Process improvement experience Knowledge of cutting tool geometry Knowledge of cutting tool manufacturers Knowledge of the aerospace market a plus Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong mathematical skills Experience with multi-axis machine tool programing a plus Ability to interpret complex prints and models Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Must be able to perform duties with minimal supervision Data analysis Ability to lead projects; results oriented Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation A typical day may look like this: Ensure all tooling released to production meets customer's requirements Routine, basic inspection of tooling Assist with tooling performance checks Works with engineers to determine tooling needs Troubleshooting of issues relating to product applications Application support of new products Improve existing processes and applications by reviewing objectives and specifications Recommend changes and make modifications to tooling, applications and processes of machining as needed Support of reconditioning program Facilitation of manufacturer visits and the introduction of their products to the customer Facilitate corrective action program Performs other duties as assigned by Management 50% Sitting 40% Standing 10% Walking Lifting up to 40 lbs.
