About the Role As a CNC Machining Specialist, you will be the backbone of our production floor, ensuring that complex parts are manufactured to exact specifications. You will leverage your expertise in CNC mills and lathes to optimize machine performance, driving high-quality output and operational efficiency for our precision manufacturing team. Responsibilities Execute complex machine setups by installing fixtures and calibrating tooling to ensure seamless production cycles. Achieve superior dimensional accuracy by managing tool offsets and making real-time process adjustments. Interpret intricate engineering blueprints and technical drawings to guide the production of high-tolerance components. Validate product integrity through rigorous first-piece and in-process inspections using advanced metrology tools. Minimize operational downtime by proactively troubleshooting mechanical and programming challenges. Enhance team productivity by providing technical mentorship and support to machine operators. Maintain rigorous documentation standards to ensure process consistency and traceability. Uphold a culture of safety and excellence by adhering to all facility quality and housekeeping protocols. Required Skills Proven background in CNC setup within a precision machining environment. Hands-on experience configuring CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis equipment. Expertise in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and engineering specifications. Proficiency with precision hand metrology, including micrometers, calipers, and indicators. Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on systematic problem-solving. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative manufacturing setting. Preferred Skills Background in Tool and Die making or specialized tooling maintenance. Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
