Toms River, NJ Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7a-3:30p
Pay Range :
$28.00-$37.00 depending on skill/experience plus quarterly bonus Join our team at Heyco, a PennEngineering Company—a cutting-edge American manufacturer with 100 years of expertise. We are looking for a Tool & Die Maker to fabricate, repair, and maintain precision tooling including dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges. This hands-on role supports our manufacturing operations by ensuring high-quality tooling, tight tolerances, and safe, efficient production. Essential Duties Plan, build, alter, and repair tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges to close tolerances Perform complex toolroom operations, fitting, timing, and adjustments Select materials and plan construction methods Account for heat-treat shrinkage and metal flow in dies Conduct tool tryouts and troubleshoot tooling issues Diagnose and correct problems in complex dies and tools Follow all quality and safety procedures Work overtime as business needs require Qualifications Associate's degree or technical training; or high school diploma/GED with at least two years of tool & die experience; or equivalent combination Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics Proficiency in basic shop math, trigonometry, and SPC Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally Work in an environment with moving machinery, noise, vibration, and airborne particles Required use of PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, and hard-toed shoes We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status. Pay:
$28.00 - $37.00 per hour
