If you enjoy turning complex mold changeovers into seamless transitions, solving process hiccups under pressure, and documenting every adjustment with care, you'll thrive here. Your core challenges Plan and perform mold setups and changeovers based on the production schedule. Prepare tooling and peripherals ahead of time; correct process problems per supervisor direction. Own preventative maintenance on active tools: clean and grease molds; clean, inspect, and lubricate equipment and machinery. Jump on troubleshooting calls; identify causes of mold performance issues and complete or assist with repairs while coordinating with impacted personnel. Watch and operate lines as needed to safeguard output and quality. Run quality checks on containers to confirm specs; record problems and any machinery adjustments. Follow plant-specific job specifications and task lists without exception. What you bring Clear, professional communication with internal and external customers. Ability to follow written instructions and confidently use assorted hand and power tools. Consistent use of required PPE and safe operation of material handling equipment. Commitment to the safest possible workplace for yourself and all associates. Injection molding experience. Physical realities and environment The work environment is typical of most manufacturing environments. To meet essential job functions, you will regularly sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, talk and hear, as well as bend and climb. Bring your tools Must have tools to perform all functions of the job/position. Safety and housekeeping fundamentals Must wear all required PPE properly. Conduct him/herself in a safe manner.
