What You'll Be Doing:
Maintain and operate water distribution & wastewater collection systems across the town. Fix water leaks, sewer issues, hydrants, and valves to keep Eagle running smoothly. Perform utility locates and inspections to ensure safety and compliance. Respond to emergency repairs like water main breaks and sewer backups. Operate specialized equipment for jetting wastewater lines and maintaining pump stations. Maintains and reads the town's residential and commercial water meters Assists with snow removal, special events, and emergency situations (yes, we need heroes year-round!). Works closely with contractors, residents, and town departments to provide top-notch service.
On-Call Rotation:
This position may requires being on-call, including evenings and weekends, to respond to emergencies such as water main breaks, sewer backups, and other urgent issues. Why Join Us? Grow Your Career

  • $28.37/ hour No prior experience required! We will train you. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Colorado Driver's License. Must obtain Water Distribution Class 1 and Wastewater Collection Class 1 certifications within one year of hire . Distribution and Collection Technician I
  • Hiring Range:
    $23.64
  • $28.37/ hour Possess Water Distribution Class 1 and Wastewater Collection Class 1 certifications. Some experience in water and wastewater operations or a related field (construction, plumbing, etc.). Ability to assist in repairs, inspections, and maintenance tasks with supervision. Distribution and Collection Technician II
  • Hiring Range:
    $26.84
  • $32.22/ hour Possess Water Distribution Class 2 and Wastewater Collection Class 2 certifications. Experience in utility maintenance and repair. Increased responsibility in troubleshooting, locating utilities, and assisting with contractors. Distribution and Collection Technician III
  • Hiring Range:
    $29.65
  • $35.58/ hour Possess Water Distribution Class 3 and Wastewater Collection Class 3 certifications. Strong ability to work independently and lead tasks. Proficient in regulatory compliance, emergency response, and system maintenance. Distribution and Collection Technician IV
  • Hiring Range:
    $29.64
  • $35.
58/ hour Possess Water Distribution Class 4 and Wastewater Collection Class 4 certifications. Expert-level skills in water/wastewater systems and troubleshooting. Ability to oversee projects, mentor junior technicians, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Preferred But Not Required:
