Water and Wastewater Operator position. • Must have current C - Groundwater license and also C - Wastewater licenses. • Must be able to conduct routine maintenance and repairs to the Water and Wastewater plant, facilities, equipment, etc. Repair water and wastewater leaks on mainlines and service lines. Install water and wastewater taps. Repair lift station pumps and motors, wastewater plant blowers. Be able to troubleshoot issues that arise. Train laborers and operators-in-training on all aspects of the job. Read meters. Connect and disconnect water meters. Keep inventory of tools, parts, equipment, and chemicals used, and restock as needed. Complete and submit all reports to TCEQ, EPA, and all other entities. Oversee any projects that involves outside contractors. The position includes but is not limited to the description above.
