Job Description

Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for food safety and sanitation? Do you thrive in a fast-paced production environment where cleanliness and compliance are key? We're looking for a Sanitation Supervisor to join our team and lead sanitation operations across our food manufacturing facility. In this role, you'll work side-by-side with your team to ensure our production areas and equipment meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance. What You'll Do:
Lead and train the sanitation crew to meet SSOP, HACCP, FDA, and GMP standards Oversee daily cleaning and sanitizing of production, packaging, and storage areas Disassemble, sanitize, and reassemble production equipment Conduct daily facility inspections and ensure readiness for production Maintain and update the Master Sanitation Schedule Prepare for and participate in third-party and regulatory audits Coach team members and hold them accountable to sanitation standards Ensure proper chemical dilution and safe handling of cleaning agents Promote a culture of safety and cleanliness across the facility Support environmental and ATP swabbing procedures Document and report any food safety or sanitation concerns
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of sanitation experience in the food production industry Strong leadership and team-building skills Knowledge of sanitation chemicals, tools, and equipment Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Comfortable working in hot, cold, wet, and loud environments Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods Flexible schedule availability (nights, weekends, overtime) Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk, climb stairs, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Good vision (with or without corrective lenses) and ability to differentiate colors Comfortable working in various temperature zones (hot, cold, wet) Why Join Us? $64,400.00 - $70,800.00 per year
