Knowledge of welding equipment setup, welding techniques, and safe operating procedures. Ability to accurately measure, fit, and prepare materials prior to welding. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in welding positions throughout the shift. Ability to lift metal components, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely wear welding helmets, gloves, and required personal protective equipment. Ability to safely work around welding equipment, sparks, heat, and fabrication machinery while following established safety procedures.
