Job Description

Pay:
$22.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM Overtime may be required A large manufacturing company is seeking experienced TIG/MIG Welders for a busy fabrication shop. Strong TIG welding experience is required. Candidates must be able to produce clean, consistent TIG welds with a professional "stack of dimes" appearance. MIG welding experience is also required. Job Responsibilities Perform TIG and MIG welding on fabricated metal components Produce clean and consistent TIG weld beads Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements Set up and prepare materials according to specifications Cut, grind, fit, clamp, and align metal components Use saws, grinders, calipers, squares, rulers, and other fabrication tools Weld in vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions Inspect finished welds for appearance, strength, and defects Repair fabricated parts and fill gaps when necessary Maintain welding equipment and a clean, safe work area Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE Work overtime when production needs require it Qualifications Several years of TIG welding experience required Must be able to demonstrate a clean "stack of dimes" TIG weld MIG welding experience required Previous fabrication shop experience strongly preferred Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Knowledge of different metals and their properties Strong measuring, fitting, and metal-preparation skills Excellent attention to detail and workmanship Ability to work safely and follow instructions AWS certification is a plus Candidates may be required to complete a welding test demonstrating their TIG and MIG welding abilities.
