Santa Fe Springs, CA Shift:
Monday- Friday, 6:00am
- 2:30pm or 8:30am
- 5:00pm
Pay:
$20.00- $20.
Overview:
The Certified Welder position requires a person with working experience in cutting aluminum material. This role demonstrates experience for the duties and skills listed below or demonstrates evidence of the ability to learn.Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Welding, blueprint reading, and using saws to cut parts to a tolerance of +- 1/32 of an inch.
Experience and Skills:
Two years' experience in welding and using saws to cut parts to a tolerance. Understanding of quality assurance and inspection process Basic blueprint reading Experience working with Aluminum is preferred Communication skills that will enable the individual to interact with a diverse employee population Must be able to read a tape measure during the set-up and operation of the fabrication process Attention to detailQualifications:
Technical skills and knowledge of the welding machine set-up and operation Tig welding is preferred, but training can be provided if requiredPhysical Requirements:
Standing:
Particularly for sustained periods of time.Fingering:
Picking, pinching, typing, or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm as in handling.Talking:
Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word.Hearing:
Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels.Repetitive Motions:
Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity. Must be able to occasionally lift to 50 lbs. At times it is dusty due to the manufacturing aspect.Pay:
