Job Title:

TIG Welder Job Description Perform TIG welding on complex metal components, including stainless steel, nickel alloys, and other specialty materials. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications. Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect welds for accuracy, defects, and compliance with quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures. Essential Skills Ability to use a tape measure, assemble components, and conduct quality control. Experience in small parts assembly and use of hand and power tools. Proficiency in production line work and inspection of parts. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience with TIG welding techniques. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Work Environment The work environment features a well-lit and air-conditioned production floor. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New London, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.70 - $36.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
