Job Description
Fitter/Fabricator Beyel Brothers is a long-established and growing company serving the marine, crane , rigging, and heavy haul industries , and we are looking for an experienced and dependable Fitter & Fabricator to join our team. Position Responsibilities:
Fit, fabricate, repair, and modify steel and structural components Read and interpret drawings, measurements, and fabrication specifications Perform layout, cutting, grinding, drilling, and welding as required Fabricate and repair components used in marine, crane, trucking, and heavy haul operations Work with various types of steel and metal materials Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and proper fit Safely operate hand tools, power tools, cutting equipment, and fabrication equipment Work closely with mechanics, welders, operators, and other members of the operations team Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow company safety procedures and quality standards Perform other fabrication and repair duties as assignedQualifications:
Previous experience as a Fitter, Fabricator, Welder/Fabricator, or similar position Experience in marine, heavy equipment, crane, trucking, or heavy haul environments is a plus Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings and measurements Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable, hardworking, and safety-minded Must be able to work in a fast-paced industrial environment Welding experience is preferredWhat We Offer:
