This role involves assisting the lead welder with preparation tasks, handling materials, and performing welding of metal and aluminum components. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Assist the lead welder in preparing materials for welding, including cutting and measuring metal and aluminum components. Support the welding process by setting up equipment and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Weld metal and aluminum parts according to specifications, primarily focusing on fencing projects. Help with the organization and maintenance of tools, supplies, and work area to ensure efficiency and safety. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to promote a safe working environment. Qualifications Prior experience or familiarity with welding processes is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. Basic understanding of metalworking, cutting, and measuring tools is advantageous. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Physical ability to handle materials, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks related to welding assistance. Reliable work ethic with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills.
