Job Summary
JMC Aviation is recruiting for an experienced QEC Mechanic on behalf of a leading aviation MRO organisation based in Miami, Florida.
This role is well-suited to mechanics with strong engine accessory and systems experience, looking to work on
T56/501D
engines within a structured and high-quality repair environment.

Key Responsibilities
Perform disassembly, sub-assembly, and final assembly of QECKs, modules, and components
Carry out build-up and mating of QECKs to engines
Conduct leak checks, preparation for engine testing, and final preservation activities
Disassemble, assemble, and test aircraft accessories
Interpret and work from technical manuals, drawings, and service bulletins
Ensure correct configuration, fits, and tolerances during assembly
Perform servicing procedures in line with approved data
Use tools and equipment safely and effectively
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with defined work scopes and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications & Experience
Experience working with aircraft engine systems including electrical, wiring, hydraulic, fuel, oil, and air systems
Ability to read and interpret engine manuals, technical drawings, and compliance documentation
Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on assembly experience
Must have a basic set of tools
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and handle parts and tooling up to 25 lbs using appropriate techniques
Capability to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach as required for inspections
Ability to perform repetitive movements while maintaining high levels of accuracy
