Requirements:

Strong knowledge of all types of welding processes and the ability to weld carbon, stainless and galvanized Ability to complete sheet metal projects accurately and with precision Ability to safely use machinery and tools associated with sheet metal work Ability to read blueprints and drawing and take/read measurements to plan layout and procedures Ability to follow directions Ability to pass drug screen

Responsibilities:

Consult blueprints, work orders to safely construct specified structures and develop additional drawing if needed Cut, bend and shape sheet metal to required dimensions Measures, cuts, and secures seams by rolling, use of steel screws and/or welding pieces together according to specifications Maintains clean orderly work space Complete all tasks and related duties safely according to company safety standards

Experience:

Experienced MIG Welder Experienced in welding both stainless and mild steel Fabricating experience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, reach and lift for prolong periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
