Job Description
Position is in a machine shop. Will work on a temp to perm basis provided they are satisfied with attendance and performance. Long term work for qualified candidate. 2-3 years experience required. Job Specifics Mig/Fluxcore Applicant must know general welding processes and techniques Welding small and large components in carbon steel of different thicknesses ranging from 1/8" to 1" Applicant must understand heat input with travel speed and its effects on weld profile Applicant must have his own Welding Shield and General tools Applicant must have knowledge of in shop etiquette and atmosphere Position will be primarily in shop with a occasional outdoor requirement if needed General requirements Applicant must have great hand-eye coordination Ability and knowledge of using power tools (Cordless Electric / Pneumatic ) Must be Mechanically inclined, have general knowledge of hand tools, nuts / bolts, and assembly processes Forklift operation not required, but is a plus Overhead crane operation not required, but a plus Ability to lift 40 lbs Must be able to stand for long periods of time Ability to complete assigned tasks quickly and efficiently Ability to follow directions Ideal Candidate
