Your responsibilities
- Welding process: expertly perform welding using processes like mig (gmaw), tig (gtaw), or stick (smaw) on materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
Interpretation:
accurately read and interpret complex blueprints, weld symbols, and specifications to determine joint design and required proceduresFabrication:
perform fitting, grinding, and basic fabrication tasks to prepare components for welding, maintaining required tolerances and gauge thickness- Quality assurance: conduct visual inspection of welds to ensure they meet quality standards (e.g., proper penetration, minimal undercut, and absence of porosity)
Adaptability:
quickly adapt to different fixture setups, material types, and client quality requirements during various short-term mandates.location:
