Full-Time Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour (based on experience) Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Lead TIG Welder for a great opportunity in Auburn Hills, MI. The ideal candidate will have strong TIG welding experience along with the ability to provide hands-on leadership and support to a welding team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for performing precision TIG welding while assisting with team coordination, training, quality control, and production goals. The successful candidate will be a skilled welder who takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys helping lead others.
Responsibilities:
Perform precision TIG welding on fabricated components and assemblies. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld specifications. Inspect welds and completed work to ensure quality standards are met. Set up and operate welding equipment and maintain proper welding procedures. Provide guidance, training, and support to welding team members. Assist with coordinating workflow, job priorities, and production needs. Troubleshoot welding issues and recommend process improvements. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
Requirements:
Previous TIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols. Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and equipment. Previous leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work independently while supporting team objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience welding stainless steel, aluminum, and/or mild steel. Experience in precision fabrication or custom manufacturing. Previous experience training or mentoring other welders. #gb
