Full-Time Overview We are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to join our Setup & Plating Department. This position is ideal for candidates with experience as an Oil Change Technician, Automotive Technician, Auto Body Technician, Maintenance Technician, or anyone who enjoys hands-on work and working with tools. While welding and fabrication experience is a plus, we are willing to train candidates who possess strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a desire to learn. Responsibilities Clean mandrels by hand to prepare them for production and plating processes Apply wax and sculpt molds according to specifications Paint parts, tooling, and molds as needed Monitor and maintain proper chemical balances within plating tanks Perform light fabrication and assembly work Use hand and power tools safely and effectively Inspect parts and tooling for quality and accuracy Assist with setup activities throughout the department Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety and quality procedures Qualifications Requirements Strong mechanical aptitude Comfortable using hand and power tools Ability to learn plating and chemical process procedures Good attention to detail and quality standards Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently and within a team environment Preferred Qualifications Welding and/or fabrication experience Automotive repair experience Blueprint reading experience Manufacturing experience Forklift experience #2958MI
