Key Responsibilities Fabrication & Welding:

Build and weld products to drawings and production specifications using correct materials and welding procedures.

Quality Control:

Inspect welded assemblies for tolerances, defects, and quality compliance; complete required documentation.

Preparation & Assembly:

Lay out, align, and secure parts before welding; clean and prepare surfaces.

Material Handling:

Operate forklifts and cranes (experience preferred)

Safety Compliance:

Follow all safety policies, use safety equipment, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Technical Skills:

Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications; select and install welding tools, torches, filler rods, and flux.

Process Monitoring:

Watch for overheating, warping, distortion, or other defects during welding.

Maintenance:

Detect and report faulty equipment or defective materials.

Required Skills & Qualifications Experience:

2+ years in fabrication welding (MIG)or recent welder certification program graduate with

AWS D1.1 GMAW

certification

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in shielded metal arc (SMAW), gas metal arc (GMAW), MIG welding, and flame/plasma beveling (experience preferred)

Blueprint Reading:

Ability to interpret drawings, sketches, and work orders

Computer Literacy:

Basic computer skills for documentation and equipment use. Attention to

Precision in measurements, fitting, and welding to meet tolerances.

Work Environment Team-Based:

Collaborate with production and operations teams to meet deadlines.
