M-F 6:45AM-3:15PM Pay depends on experience

Overview:

This position is responsible for the joining ofmetal components together using a variety of arc and gas welding equipment to fabricate or repair products such as machined parts, fabrications, and tubular assemblies. Duties/Responsibilities:

Ability to read, comprehend, and execute simple to complex, written welding instructions Position, clamp and/or tack weld together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding. Welds and fabricates flexible and rigid tube assemblies composed of a variety of materials using manual and automatic GTAW (Tig) welding processes. Inspect welds for conformance to visual and dimensional requirements using magnification and bore-scoping tools. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use fingers to position, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include 20/25 Near Vision and 20/30 Distance Vision natural or corrected. Red/Green and Blue/Yellow color perception also required. Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time Other duties may be assigned as needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Welding certifications based upon business requirements.
