Manual Welder 1st
Shift:
M-F 6:45AM-3:15PM Pay depends on experienceOverview:
This position is responsible for the joining ofmetal components together using a variety of arc and gas welding equipment to fabricate or repair products such as machined parts, fabrications, and tubular assemblies. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities.Duties/Responsibilities:
Ability to read, comprehend, and execute simple to complex, written welding instructions Position, clamp and/or tack weld together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding. Welds and fabricates flexible and rigid tube assemblies composed of a variety of materials using manual and automatic GTAW (Tig) welding processes. Inspect welds for conformance to visual and dimensional requirements using magnification and bore-scoping tools. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use fingers to position, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include 20/25 Near Vision and 20/30 Distance Vision natural or corrected. Red/Green and Blue/Yellow color perception also required. Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time Other duties may be assigned as neededQualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Welding certifications based upon business requirements.Benefits:
