Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. " with backing plate test (pulse spray transfer 0.052 wire diameter) Have reliable transportation Read blue print and tape measure Use basic hand tools Responsibilities Perform MIG, FCAW, and Stick welding on Structural Steel components Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. Conduct assembly of components according to engineering designs. Maintain compliance with AISC codes & standards throughout the fabrication process. Operate forklifts safely to move materials within the workspace. Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and safe for operation. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Skills Proven experience in fabrication shop is preferred. Proficient in various welding techniques with MIG welding. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use tape measure, square, sliding t bevel, etc. Familiarity with fabrication processes Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively for accurate project execution. Competence in using power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
