Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Welder to join our team. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your welding skills and gain hands-on experience working on diverse projects. As a vital member of our crew, you will assist in fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using various welding techniques. This role is perfect for individuals eager to start their career in welding, with a focus on safety, precision, and continuous learning. All positions are paid, and we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed. Duties Set up and operate MIG welding equipment to join metal parts accurately Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding specifications and procedures Use hand & power tools to measure, cut, and shape metal and other materials for fabrication projects Perform basic math calculations to ensure precise measurements and proper assembly of components Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety standards in accordance with ASME codes & standards Support the use of mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues and ensuring quality welds Operate forklifts or overhead crane's as needed for material handling and site logistics Experience Construction site experience or exposure to manufacturing environments is preferred but not required; we welcome eager learners ready to grow in the field Basic understanding of welding techniques in MIG welding Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and schematics beneficial for accurate measurements and assembly tasks Mechanical knowledge or experience with fabrication processes enhances your ability to contribute effectively Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and project specifications Willingness to learn blueprint reading and interpret technical drawings with guidance from experienced team members Strong safety awareness with the ability to follow safety protocols during all operations Join us if you're ready to build a solid foundation in welding while working on exciting projects that make an impact!
