Job Description
Work location: Dayton, Ohio 1st shift only MIG Welder / Fabricator We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder / Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience with structural and industrial fabrication, can read blueprints and weld symbols, and is comfortable working independently on a variety of welding and fabrication projects. Responsibilities Perform MIG, Flux-Core, and Spray Arc welding. Fabricate and weld structural and industrial components. Work with tube steel and other structural materials. Perform multi-pass welds as required. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols. Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding processes and settings. Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for quality and accuracy. Work independently while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area. Follow company safety procedures and quality standards. Requirements Proven experience with MIG welding. Experience with Flux-Core and Spray Arc welding. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Strong understanding of welding symbols and fabrication drawings. Experience welding structural and industrial components. Experience working with tube steel. Ability to perform quality multi-pass welds. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Welding certification is a plus , but not required. Preferred Qualifications Structural welding experience. Industrial fabrication experience. Previous experience with multiple welding processes. AWS or other recognized welding certification.
