We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team and fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components for a variety of industries, including construction, transportation, energy, and defense. This role requires expertise in MIG, TIG, and/or Flux Core welding, along with the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings to produce high-quality welds that meet customer specifications and safety standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and committed to producing quality workmanship in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities Welding & Fabrication Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Flux Core welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals. Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, welding symbols, and technical drawings. Prepare materials and complete welds that meet quality and dimensional requirements. Perform inspections of completed welds to verify structural integrity and workmanship. Equipment & Production Safely operate overhead cranes and material handling equipment to position materials. Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition. Report equipment malfunctions and assist with routine maintenance as needed. Collaborate with supervisors and production teams to meet production schedules and quality expectations. Quality & Safety Ensure all work complies with company quality standards and customer specifications. Follow welding procedures, safety regulations, and company policies at all times. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity. Qualifications Proven experience with MIG, TIG, and/or Flux Core welding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols. Experience welding stainless steel, aluminum, and other fabrication materials. Experience operating overhead cranes and material handling equipment. Strong understanding of welding safety practices and quality standards. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Preferred Qualifications AWS Certified Welder or certification from an accredited welding program. Experience with brazing and advanced metal joining techniques. Previous manufacturing, industrial, or construction welding experience. Knowledge of welding inspection methods and quality control procedures. Experience working with automated or robotic welding equipment. Ideal Candidate Profile Skilled welder who takes pride in producing precise, high-quality work.
