Job Description

Pay:
$28-$35/hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
Day Shift | Monday-Friday | Weekends as needed

5215 Arkansas Road, Catoosa, OK 74015 Weld Test Requirements Candidates MUST be able to pass: Open Root 3G MIG/Fluxcore Fill & Cap Test 6G TIG Root / Flux Fill & Cap Test on 2" Schedule 160 About Westerman Westerman, Inc. is an employee-owned company (ESOP) and multi-site manufacturer of production and storage equipment serving the oil, gas, and nuclear industries. Our equipment helps improve separation efficiency, optimize well pad design, and reduce overall equipment costs through high-performance surface separation and processing technology. About the Position The Welder is responsible for setting up and operating advanced welding equipment while producing high-quality work that meets required specifications. This position requires an experienced, safety-focused welder who can troubleshoot welding issues, minimize scrap and rework, and consistently meet production and quality standards. •This is a safety-sensitive position. What You'll Do Set up and safely operate advanced welding equipment. Plan welding procedures and work sequences. Inspect finished work for quality and completeness. Troubleshoot and adjust welding machines to maintain production and quality. Repair defective products while maintaining acceptable appearance and quality standards. Help improve welding procedures for safety, efficiency, and quality. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Maintain expected production standards. Accurately clock into assigned production jobs. Communicate and coordinate with other departments. Perform other duties as assigned. Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position. Qualifications 2+ years of TIG pipe welding experience required. Must obtain weld certification to
AWS/ANSI
standards. Basic safety training. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and weld symbols. Ability to read a tape measure accurately. Intermediate math skills. Strong understanding of volts and amps with the ability to make necessary adjustments. Ability to identify weld defects and follow quality procedures. Strong troubleshooting skills. Basic data-entry skills for maintenance breakdown calls. Ability to safely operate tools and equipment required for the position. Candidates must be able to:
Stand for extended periods, including the majority or entirety of a shift. Perform repetitive physical work. Lift up to 50 pounds . Sit, stand, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and bend. Use hands and fingers to operate tools and handle small parts. Walk on even and uneven surfaces. Read instructions and measuring devices. Work in both hot and cold temperatures. Wear required PPE. Access all areas of the plant and grounds. Work in tight quarters when necessary. Perform work requiring close vision, depth perception, attention to small details, and the ability to adjust focus.
