POSITION SUMMARY
This role is critical in fabricating and assembling structural components using MIG welding techniques, ensuring precision, durability, and compliance with engineering specifications.RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Perform basic welding tasks under supervision (MIG, Stick, or Flux-Core) Read and follow simple blueprints and work instructions Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and fitting components Conduct basic weld inspections for appearance and obvious defects Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements All other duties assigned.OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

(KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings. Familiarity with structural welding codes and standards (AWS D1.1 or equivalent). Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and workplace safety practices. AWS certification is a plus.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
(required levels) High school diploma or GED required; technical training or welding certification preferred. 0-2years of MIG welding experience, preferably in a structural or heavy fabrication setting.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
