Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and fitting metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality structures, ductwork, piping systems, and assemblies used across various industries. Insurance available after 90 day period. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble metal components. Perform MIG, and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), welding techniques to join various metals according to industry standards. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and Oxy-Acetyline torches for cutting, shaping, and forming sheet metal and other materials. Measure dimensions precisely with tape measures and other measuring instruments to ensure quality and accuracy. Fabricate ductwork, piping systems, structural components, and assemblies following AWS codes & standards. Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for lifting and moving heavy materials or finished products. Conduct Welding, plasma cutting, and assembly tasks while adhering to safety protocols and quality requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Requirements Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of fabrication processes in industrial or commercial settings. Proficiency in MIG welding and FCAW welding techniques; experience with X-Ray quality welding preferred. Weld tests Required - 3G open root Mig and Flux. If you are unable to set your machine you will Automatically Fail. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and rigging. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Ability to demonstrate experience in welding. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate forklifts safely Experience with blueprint reading is required. Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously in a construction or manufacturing environment. $22.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 60.0 per week
