• Responsibilities
• + Perform structural welding and fitting on large steel components + Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings + Complete accurate fit-up and alignment prior to welding + Weld using Metal Core and Flux Core processes + Maintain quality and safety standards in a heavy industrial environment
• Qualifications
• + 2+ years of structural welding and fitting experience + Experience with Metal Core and Flux Core welding + Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings + Experience working with large steel structures + Ability to pass a weld and fitter test + Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Weld Test Requirements
• + 1G position on 1/2" plate + 1/16" Metal Core wire with bevel bar + Fitting test required
