Join a team where you can learn, grow and thrive in! Northwest Technologies, Inc. provides metal manufacturing and fabrication for a wide range of industries. We are currently looking for qualified candidates for an Welder Fabricator level III position on our day shift (Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm, 40+ hours/week). What you can expect to do day to day: Weld parts to meet customer specifications, production schedules, and recognized industry standards Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, cranes, hand tools, and precision measuring tools Read drawings for fabrication What you bring to the table: Have manufacturing experience Ability to perform quality finish welds Proficient with complex fit up Able to weld with multiple processes (TIG and MIG) on multiple materials like mild steel, stainless, and aluminum proficiently. Simple pipework, spools, and small headers in MIG and TIG. Set up positioners efficiently. Able to set welding machine parameters for TIG and MIG in steel, stainless, and aluminum. Able to layout complex shapes (tanks, pipes, tank heads) Able to fit pipes and flanges proficiently Overhead crane experience with larger projects Able to estimate weights of projects for rigging purposes Able to look at a drawing and plan the order of operations needed.
