Fulcrum Technologies is a leader in the design and custom fabrication of machine bases for vibration-sensitive semiconductor production tools. We're looking for a Welder/Fabricator who brings craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a passion for quality to our growing production team. What You'll Do As a Welder/Fabricator, you'll be hands-on with critical components, working from engineering drawings to cut, fit, weld, and finish high-precision parts. You'll play a key role in delivering the quality and reliability our customers count on.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Cutting, drilling, tapping, and prepping metal parts per specifications Reading shop drawings and welding symbols accurately Performing fit-ups, tack welding, and final welds Flattening, straightening, and preparing parts for powder coating Grinding and finishing as required Maintaining your work area and tools in clean, safe condition Collaborating with team members and communicating job progress Following safety protocols and participating in safety meetings Taking initiative to solve fabrication challenges Supporting other production tasks as needed What We're Looking For We're seeking candidates with: 3+ year of welding/fabrication experience
GMAW, FCAW, GTAW
Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings and weld symbols Knowledge of welding parameters (amps, volts, etc.) Strong layout, math, and measuring skills (metric & imperial) Confidence using hand tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment as well as finishing skills Physical ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods A commitment to producing quality work on deadline A collaborative, solution-oriented attitude Work Environment This role is based in our indoor fabrication facility and includes physically active tasks such as lifting, bending, welding, and grinding.
