•$23.00/hr Join a growing company that designs and manufactures custom dust collection and ventilation systems for heavy industrial manufacturers. This is a great opportunity for an experienced TIG Welder who enjoys working in a custom fabrication environment where every project is unique.

What You'll Do:

Perform TIG welding on custom-built ventilation, ductwork, and dust collection system components using thin-gauge galvanized, stainless steel, and carbon steel materials. Read blueprints and shop drawings to complete layout, fitting, tacking, and final welding of fabricated assemblies. Fabricate and weld thin-gauge sheet metal (14-16 gauge) while maintaining high-quality workmanship and accuracy. Operate fabrication equipment including shears, press brakes, rollers, grinders, saws, and other sheet metal machinery. Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures and fabrication tools to ensure products meet specifications. Assist fabrication teams with forming, assembling, and finishing custom ventilation system components as needed. Maintain a safe and productive work environment while supporting production goals and project deadlines.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2+ years of TIG welding experience in a custom fabrication environment. Experience working with thin-gauge sheet metal materials. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings. Strong tape measure and layout skills. Experience with stainless steel, galvanized steel, and carbon steel welding preferred.
