Job Description
Daria Metal Fabricators is one of the leading and most technologically advanced precision sheet metal job shops in the region. FIBER LASER
Welding positions on first shift operations. The ideal candidates should have experience as a TIG welder, from MIG welding, as a welder fabricator, or have experience from welding fabrication. Additional experience from metal fabrication is also desired.Working hours:
Monday- Friday 7:00 AM till 3:30
PM Job Requirements Include:
- Preferably 3 years MIG and TIG welding Experience (Preferred, but NOT Required)
- Preferably able to TIG weld Aluminum, Stainless and Carbon Steel Sheet Metal (Preferred, but NOT Required)
- Ability to interpret sheet metal drawings and weld symbols proficiently
- Understanding of welding processes and techniques
- Personal Welding helmet
Job Skills Necessary Include:
- TIG Weld Aluminum sheet metal from 18 ga thru 1/4" plate
- TIG Weld Stainless and Carbon Steel sheet metal from 20 ga thru 1/4" Plate
- MIG Weld predominately Carbon Steel sheet metal from 18 ga thru 1/2" Plate
- Ability to lay a cosmetic weld with strength integrity
- Build simple fixtures to locate parts per drawing specs
- Ability to read and interpret customer drawings and weld symbols
- Interpret tolerances on customer drawings and weld parts within tolerances
- Use of dial calipers, tape measure, square and other measuring tools
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Working efficiently and independently
- Working on feet for entire shift depending on the job
- Weld production Jobs (20-1000+ pcs) and small Quantity jobs (1-20 pcs)
- Work with quality control inspectors
- Meet estimated per piece times
