Job Summary:

Do not apply for this position unless you are willing to work hard and follow relatively easy instructions. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fabricator/Welder/Installer to join our team. As an employee of TRUX Service Body & Rigging, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components related to commercial truck upfitting. Fabricating ladder racks, various types of baskets, welding out liftgates and brackets as well as being involved in the installation of materials related to chassis upfitting. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Duties:

• Fabricate and weld metal components related to commercial truck upfitting
• Willing to learn the various installs we execute on a daily basis
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts
• Read and interpret instructions and specifications to determine project requirements
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards and customer specifications
• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute fabrication projects
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• MANDATORY 2+ YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH MIG WELDING

• Proven experience as a Fabricator/MIG Welder
• Proficiency in fabricating and welding techniques
• Experience operating hand tools, power tools, and machinery used in metal fabrication
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
