We are in search for Stick Welders who has experience in working in a commercial HVAC environment. Primary Responsibilities:

Performs pipe welding primarily in a 1G position. Must pass a test in 6G position. Receives instructions, prints and work orders for job. Makes any type and size weld, such as "V" lap, butt, etc. Clean, grinds and preps all welding surfaces. Uses burning equipment to dismantle assemblies and to cut material to size and shape. Makes provisions for handling materials and equipment in the fab shop. Performs work requiring knowledge of the welding properties of various types of metals, welding rods, welding heats and allowances for fit-up. Cleans and maintains working area in an orderly condition. Ability to communicate with a team.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED Welders must have considerable experience SMAW (Stick), GMAW (Wire/Short Arc) Welding experience is a plus. Must pass a 6G test. Ability to work in a demanding, multi-task environment. Ability to manipulate tools and assembly components involving fine and gross motor skills sufficient to demonstrate welding job tasks. Ability to lift 40 pounds. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, kneel, twist, pull, push, grip and climb Berger Engineering Company is an equal opportunity employer.
