Job Description

Structural Steel Welder / Fabricator IronCore Structural Steel LLC is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Welder/Fabricator to join our fabrication shop in Roanoke, Texas. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience fitting, assembling, and welding structural steel components while following shop drawings, dimensions, quality requirements, and safety procedures. Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are preferred.
Responsibilities:
Fabricate and weld structural steel components. Read and interpret structural steel shop drawings and fabrication details. Lay out, fit, assemble, and weld structural steel members. Perform MIG, FCAW, and SMAW welding as required. Work with HSS tubing, angles, channels, beams, columns, plates, and miscellaneous steel. Verify measurements and maintain dimensional accuracy. Inspect completed welds and maintain quality standards. Safely operate grinders, saws, welding machines, and other fabrication equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow company safety procedures and shop requirements.
Requirements:
Previous structural steel welding and fabrication experience. Ability to read and understand structural steel shop drawings. Experience fitting and welding HSS, angles, channels, beams, columns, and plates. Experience with MIG, FCAW, and SMAW welding processes. Current welding certification is preferred but not required. Ability to accurately use a tape measure and standard fabrication tools. Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fabrication shop. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Must be authorized to work in the United States.

$25.80-$31.08 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated skill level Selected applicants may be required to complete an in-person welding and fabrication test.
