San Marcos, Texas Custom stainless components | Days, Monday-Friday Build custom stainless parts and assemblies from fit-up through final weld, finish, and test. Work is primarily stainless fabrication for private and municipal customers nationwide. Daytime schedule, some overtime, and a shop known for tenure and taking the finished product seriously. What you'll do TIG weld fabricated stainless components and assemblies; MIG weld as needed Measure, fit, and prepare parts for accurate fabrication Drill, tap, bend, grind, sand, cut, braze, and polish Run plasma cutters, torches, grinders, drills, and other fab equipment Complete sub-assemblies and final assembly, then help test finished fixtures Inspect your own work for fit, finish, and consistency Keep tools, equipment, and your area in safe, working order Follow OSHA and shop safety practices Flag better ways to improve quality, safety, or efficiency Support other production areas when needed What makes someone a great fit 3+ years TIG welding, ideally on stainless steel Clean, consistent welds and strong attention to fit and finish Comfortable with everyday fab work: measure, cut, bend, grind, assemble MIG and general shop-equipment experience preferred Takes pride in craftsmanship, quality, and safety Reliable, self-directed, and good on a team AWS Certification or Trade School Certificate This is a fabrication role, not production bead-running. The people who do well here care how the part looks and fits when it leaves the shop.
